NVH Source Locator ("the app") is a fully offline utility designed for vibration and non-destructive testing engineers. This policy describes what data the app does and does not handle.
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no servers, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and does not require an internet connection.
The app does not include analytics, crash reporting services, or any other remote data collection mechanism. No information about you or your device is sent to the developer, to third parties, or to any server.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device. It is stored in the iOS app container's local storage and can be cleared at any time by:
With your explicit permission, the app accesses the device camera to capture a photo of the mechanical component you are analyzing. You can annotate sensor positions on this photo visually. The image is kept in the app's memory only for the duration of the session unless you explicitly save it to your Photos library using the share menu.
The app never uploads photos, never performs image recognition remotely, and has no way to access photos outside of the specific capture session you initiate.
The app does not require an internet connection for any function. All calculations run locally on your device. The app contains no code that establishes network connections.
The app integrates no third-party SDKs beyond the open-source Capacitor framework used for cross-platform packaging. Capacitor itself does not collect or transmit user data.
The app is a professional engineering tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from any user.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in the app or in applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
